Igesund names squad for October friendlies
Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund has announced a squad that will play two friendly internationals, one of which is away in Poland in October.

Some players have been omitted due to injuries, while some have been recalled to the squad.

Despite having injured his shoulder during a high profile international friendly against Brazil last month, on-fire Israel-based striker Dino Ndlovu of Macabi Haifa has been included. So is in-form Kaizer Chiefs midfield star Reneilwe Letsholonyane who limped out in Chiefs' last.

There are places for young Chiefs star George Lebese and Tokelo Rantie who has been scoring for fun at his new home in Sweden, at Malmor FF.

Portugal youth international Ricardo Nunes who was born in Johannesburg has been given the green light to play for Bafana Bafana by Fifa. Nunes is currently playing his club football in Slovakia.

Steven Pienaar of Barclays English premiership second-placed team Everton has retired from international football and has therefore been excluded.
