Warriors squad for Moza friendly announced
Zimbabwe Warriors' coach Ian Gorowa has named a squad for the friendly tie against neighbours Mozambique, an international friendly to be played at Bulawayo's beautiful Barboufields Stadium on Sunday 7th December. The squad has very few regulars and many new faces.

The coach is searching for talent ahead of the announcement of the final squad of 23 expected to represent Zimbabwe at the  CAF Championship of Nations (CHAN) tournament to be hosted by South Africa in 2013.

There are a few players who could be said to be regulars, even though these players have not featured consistently under the reign of coach Gorowa. These include goalkeepers George Chigova of Dynamos, Highlanders' Munyaradzi Diya, Chicken Inn defender Felix Chindungwe and gritty midfielder Danny Phiri. There are places also for exciting Harare City midfielder Silas Songani and CAPS utility player Hardlife Zvirekwi.

The new faces including talented Triangle midfielder Pascal Manhanga. It was just about time that the gifted and exciting midfielder gets a chance to prove himself in the Warriors set-up. From lower division side Bantu Rovers comes Nqobile Khumalo.

The two Simba Sitholes, one apiece from Dynamos and How Mine are also in the squad. The Dynamos hitman was the hero of their 2-0 victory over Black Mambas which secured Dembare their 20th title. The former South Africa Mamemodi Sundowns and Supersport United striker has a job to silence his detractors after injuries frustrated his football career in South Africa. Sithole holds so much hope and he was expected to take Zimbabwe by storm just like young Knowledge Musona did.
