Sadomba, Ndoro on fire in Africa

Zimbabwe senior national team coach Ian Gorowa and all Warriors fans should be wearing broad smiles following the exploits of two foreign-based strikers, Edward Sadomba and Tendai Ndoro in their respective leagues. Sadomba in particular, has carried his domestic form to the CAF Champions League where he is among leading scorers.

Sadomba, who moved to Libyan club Al Ahli Benghazi from Sudan, enroute the United Arab Emirates, is currently leading top scorers charts in the Libyan topflight league with seven (7) goals from eight matches.

Duduza has just inspired his club to stunning 4-2 aggregate victory over African club champions Al Ahly of Egypt. Sadomba scored the only goal in Benghazi's 1-0 home victory over the Egyptian giants before coming back to haunt the African champions by providing two assists in a 3-2 win away in Cairo, a result which knocked Ahly out of the Champions League and shocked the continent.

In South Africa, Tendai Ndoro is proving to be the real deal in the ABSA Premier Soccer League. Having only started playing for his new club Mpumalanga Black Aces in the second half of the season, he is already only four goal away from the leading goal scorer Bernard Parker who sits 10 goals from 23 matches while Ndoro has 6 goal in 10 matches only.

Ndoro has potential to top the charts after only joining in the second half of the season, if he continues to bang them in doubles like he has done in recent matches against Moroka Swallows and Ajax Cape Town. The Zimbabwean striker is certainly one on fire and it is possible to see him win the Golden Boot in only his first half a season.

Ndoro won the golden boot in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League in Zimbabwe only last year before he made his move to South Africa.   He is  a proven goal scorer and an in-form striker.

Warriors' Gorowa should be a very happy man as this creates a healthy competition among his strikers, as Knowledge Musona is doing well at Kaizer Chiefs, while Kingston Nkatha has been doing equally well at the same club.
