Zimbabwean promising forwards Edmore Chirambadare and Mitchell Katsvairo both from Chicken Inn (the Game Cocks) in the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premiership were on Monday unveiled among six other new recruits at South African Glamour club Kaizer Chiefs.

The duo underwent successful trials with the Naturena-based club towards end of last season of the ABSA premiership. On Monday, their signing was confirmed by Bobby Motaung and Jessica Motaung, Chiefs' Football Manager and Marketing Manager respectively.

The former Chicken Inn players signed three year deals with the Soweto giants. Chirambadare has been given a No.11 jersey, formerly assigned to former Chiefs striker and former Golden Boot winner in the Absa premiership, Knowledge Musona, who now plays for KV Oostende in the Belgian topflight, the Pro-League/Jupiler league. Katsvairo has been assigned to jersey No.8, formerly assigned to Chiefs legend Tinashe Nengomasha.

Chirambadare and Katsvairo first caught the eye of Chiefs technical team when they played for the game cocks against Mamelodi Sundowns. Katsvairo scored the only goal in a 1-0 win against the South African champions in Bulawayo in the first leg of the first round of the CAF Champions League qualifiers, before hitting the upright in the return leg in Pretoria.

At Chiefs, the two players will join reigning Chiefs Player of the 2015/2016 Season and Zimbabwe national team Captain Willard Katsande.

Other players unveiled on Monday together with the two former Chicken Inn strikers are Keagan Buchanan (from Bloemfontein Celtic), Sibusiso Khumalo, Enocent Mkhabela (both from Supersport United), Ramahlwe Mphahlele (Mamelodi Sundowns), Lewis Macha (Ferroviario de Maputo), and Emmanuel Letlotlo promoted from development structures.
