Dynamos, M Action in tricky ties

[Posted 08 Dec 2010]

The PSL title fight in Zim has reached fever pitch heights as two teams remain tied at 60 points

This year's PSL title contenders Dynamos and Motor Action are in very tricky assignments this afternoon. Wednesday's match is crucial to help decide the PSL title winner, with both teams currently tied at 60 points. Motor Action lead by superior goal difference.

Dynamos are facing a Douglas Warriors team that is as desperate to survive relegation as DeMbare want the points to clinch the title. Douglas Warrios have a real chance to survive and a win against Dynamos will do them a world of good.

The Mighty Bulls will be playing a CAPS side bubbling with confidence, having beaten Eagles 4-1 last weekend. Its always difficult playing Moses Chunga coached out-fit that is on song. Joey Antipas' Boys are lucky that CAPS will play for nothing really other than pride.

Dynamos are likely to find Douglas Warriors tough customers. Teams facing the grim reality of relegation always raise their games and cause upsets.  A loss for DeMbare will complicate things fruther for the Glamour Boys.

Motor Action might not find it easy to go past Makepekepe.

The interesting nature of the contest between the two title-chsisng teams is that in their last matches, they will be facing teams eager to survive.

Black Mambas will give Dynamos a good test of their character, if Douglas Warriors fail to do that. The Mambas have to win their last match to be sure of survival, and Mdinda Ndlovu's men can cause an upset.

Lengthens are not in any better position on the log. They are desperate for the points against Motor Actio in the last match of the league.

The last two matches make for a very lively duel between the two teams who will represent Zimbabwe in the CAF: Champions League next year.
