URA F.C’s title bid has raised momentum after collecting three points following their 2-0 victory over Masaka L.C at Lugazi Stadium in Kampala, which helped them close the gap at the top of the log.
URA scooped a vital win from Masaka F.C, which helped them increase pressure on the table leaders KCC and stretch their fortunes of lifting the USL trophy.
The tax collectors' win came courtesy of Dan Wagaluka and "Diego" Hamis Kiiza who is currently toping the USL top scoring sheet with 9 goals.
In their first leg encounter, Masaka defeated the tax collectors 1-0 at Masake recreational Ground in Masaka, and the only defeat conceded by Alex Isabirye’s side this season.
Alex’s side triumph enabled them to transform to 32 points, 3 points behind table leaders KCC who are currently with 35 points.
The tax collectors have won their last 5 games in all competitions since their 1-0 loss to Masaka L.C F.C in January and with the return of Dan Wagaluka and Godfrey Walusimbi on the pitch, they pose a big threat to the table leaders.
