Neil Warnock, coach of promoted QPR

Neil Warnock-coached club Queens Park Rangers secured promotion to the English  Barclays Premier Soccer League from the Npower Championship on Saturday afternoon following a late 2-0 win away at Watford.

QPR scored goals through key player Adel Taarabt who scored in the 77th minute, and another late goal from Tommy Smith in the 90+3 minute to secure the points needed to confirm them as champions of England's second tier division.

QPR have now amassed an unassailable 88 points, and second placed Norwich or Cardiff who are a point behind Norwich and placed 3rd will never catch up with QPR with only two matches remaining for the chasers before end of the season.

Warnock, meanwhile has made record by qualifying into the EBPSL seven times.

The battle for the team that will accompany Warnock's boys remains tight between Norwich and Cardiff, and not to exclude Swansea who are two points and three points behind Cardiff and Norwich respectively.

Any of the three teams above will still have a second chance to gain promotion via EBPSL play-offs after the conclusion of the English soccer season.
