Ajax Amsterdam-bound Thulani Serero is in Bafana squad for Egypt match

Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has recalled the experienced Israeli-based defensive duo of Tshepo Masilela of Maccabi Haifa and Bevan Fransman of Hapoel Tel Aviv into the s quad h named for the crunchy 2012 Orange Nations Cup qualifier against Egypt in Cairo on 6 June.

South Africa currently lead the group stages with 7 points following two victories against Egypt in March and Niger last year, and a draw away in Sierra Leone.

Egypt will certainly come with all guns blazing , following one of their worst starts to the defence of the cup they have won more than any other African national side.

Mosimane says that the magnitude of this encounter has determined his selection of players for this tie.

“We are going to their stable and they know that nothing less than victory will mathematically kick them out of qualification for this tournament.

"So we are expecting a very difficult match with more attack, more aggression, and more stress levels. But I am confident that the team we have selected will be able to absorb all of that," Jingles said.

Mental stamina is what Bafana will need when they walk into the couldron of Cairo International Stadium on June 6, and their coach is not oblivious of that fact.

"This is a match that will need more brains, that will also need us to have very high tactical discipline. We have to do everything in our power to get a result because our objective is to come back top of our group as we have Niger breathing down our necks with one point behind us,” added Mosimane.

Only one uncapped player has been called, goalkeeper Mbongeni Mzimela of Amazulu.
