Nkatha joins Black Leopards

Nkatha joins Black Leopards

Former Free State Stars striker Kingston Nkatha has signed a 2 year contract with ABSA Premier Soccer League returnees Black Leopards, after leaving the Free State side at the end of last season.

The talented Zimbabwean striker, who once played for CAPS FC in his homeland Zimbabwe, is a very talented player whose career took a noe-dive when he left Harare for the Free State.

It is difficult to understand why the player who was at some point touted as a future number one striker for the Warriors of Zimbabwe suddenly became a bit-part player in South Africa.

The player's form deteriorated to the extent that FS Stars sent  him to train with Carara Kicks, a first division franchise before taking him back two seasons ago.

FS Stars off-loaded the player at the end of the 2010/2011 season due to poor form.

Probably a move away from Free State to Limpopo could work in Nkatha's favour and he could re-ingite the fire that once made him a fearsome striker in the highly competitive Zimbabwean topflight football some few years ago.

Leopards have also roped into their squad University of Pretoria and Amaglu-glug midfielder Bafana Sibeko.
