From South Africa, Mapeza has called in midfield workhorse Tinashe Nengomasha, captain Method Mwanjali, new Moroka Swallows recruit Gilbert Mapemba, Tapuwa Kapini, Khama Billiat, Willard Katsande and new Mamelodi Sundowns striker Simba Sithole.

Eight-home-based talent have made it into the squad and they include experienced defender Daniel Vheremu and his three log-leading FC Platinum team mates Charles Sibanda, Under 23 defender Lincoln Zvasiya and speed merchant Benjamin Marere.

Other locally-based players in the squad are CAPS' Tapuwa Khumbuyani, Dynamos keeper Washington Arubi, Gunners captain Qadr Amini and fast-improving Highlanders midfielder Eric Mudzingwa.
