KCC F.C worries coach

KCC have now gone three successive games without victory and their Bell Super League title ambitions are suffering an early dent.

This, coupled with champions URA beating Maroons 2-0, brought a rare admission from KCC coach Matia Lule as his listless side drew goalless with Victors at Wankulukuku on Friday.

"We were lucky to get a point. We are struggling," the often defiant Lule said.

KCC were largely poor in a game that lacked any genuine goal scoring opportunities. The closest the Lugogo-based side came to a break was in 76th minute when midfielder Tom Matsiko shot wide from just outside the penalty area.

Five minutes earlier, striker Hassan Mubiru, unmarked, had the best opening when his header off a Denis Kizito cross went straight at KCC goalkeeper Godfrey Wakabu. "Players did whatever they could.

Itís only our second game of the season and I am rebuilding my team after losing players. We are yet to find our first eleven," Victorsí coach George Nsimbe said.
