Alex Isabiryeís men are yet to lose a game and on Friday dispatched Police 2-0, their fourth straight Bell Super League victory, to open up a three point lead at the top to 13.

URA, the reigning champions, drew their opening match of the campaign against Express before embarking of a winning streak, beating KCC (2-1), Maroons (2-0), Masaka (1-0) and now Police (2-0). They subsequently face Proline next Friday.

Simba, the Uganda Cup holders, started the season with hopes high on winning the league title they last lifted when the Cranes represented at the Nations Cup in Ghana, three decades ago.

The army side lie fifth on seven points but have played one game less that URAís five. Simba have won just two of their four matches, drawing one and losing the other.

"For us, we shall beat them home and away to make our case. Letís first beat Villa on Friday and then wait for URA. Itís early days but someone has got to stop them. "We are still in the title hunt and we shall take the chase up to the last day."
