Bandari beat Gor Mahia to ease their relegation worries while City Stars produced some shock result in Nakuru after beating Ulinzi Stars.

Two days after Tusker had struggled to beat Chemelil Sugar in Nairobi, Ulinzi were expected to continue their winning ways and pile pressure on the leaders, but City Stars once again produced a result that left many wondering why they are in the relegation zone.

Stars have beaten Gor Mahia and Sofapaka before this season and once again they made away with the scalp of a big team.

Shock results

Stephen Waruru put the soldiers ahead but goals form Justus Basweti and Dan Senkuruma ensured Ulinzi left the Afraha Stadium with no win but they remain second with 44 points, four behind Tusker. City Stars meanwhile moved 14th above Bandari and Congo United.
