Mbesuma wins it for Arrows against Supersport

Experienced striker, Zambian Collins Mbesuma was once again the saviour for Muhsin Ertugal's Golden Arrows as he grabbed the sole goal of the match which gave his KZN club a 1-0 win over PSL pace setters Supersport United at the Atteridgeville Stadium on Tuesday night.

Mbesuma scored much against the run of play in the 21st minute, sneaking past a slow defender to bury Siyabonga Nkosi's beautiful cross from the win.

Despite their dominace through out the match, Supersport's real threat at the Arrows goal came in the 24th minute, when Mame Niang took advantage of a slip up from Arrows ne defender Robin Johannes but Arrows keeper  Helton Da Rocha saved the defender some blushes with a fine save.

Mbesuma almost punished the desperate United when he found acres of space inside from a swift Arrows counter attack, but just skimmed the upright.

In the end, it was Arrows who returned to Durban with all smiles, while United licked wounds of their first loss this season.
