Victors take on Villa at Kakindu Stadium

Victors coach George Nsimbe will hope no such gift is handed to his Villa counterpart George Nsimbe when the two clash in the Bell Super League at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja today.

Five SC Villa players Ė Fred Muhumuza, Edris Kaye, Simon Sserunkuma, Moses Ndawula, and Benjamin Ochan are all former Victors servants. However, Sserunkuma, who Zivo thinks is far from match fitness after a bout of malaria, will miss the party. But when you add Zivoís assistant, Paul Mukatabala, who also once played for the 2010 Uganda Cup champions, the Serb has suspects all over. "I donít know also," Zivo joked, "It will be Victors against Victors. Iím left all alone."

The humour wasnít lost on Nsimbe, the 2008 league winning coach with KCC: "They took almost my entire squad. But we are waiting for them." But when the starting whistle goes off, reality will creep in for both, especially with a glance at the league table.

Villa, the 16-time champions, lie in an unfamiliar 12th slot on a sorry seven points from six games while Victors are close neighbours, just two places below, on six points after a similar number of games.

"It will be my first game in Jinja," said Zivo, who joined Villa mid last season, "I know Victors are strong at home. It will be a tough game.

"We have been struggling to score goals. Weíll go there fighting and I think tomorrow could be when we start scoring more goals."

Nsimbe is aware of the gameís magnitude. "It will be a tough game for both teams," he said, "We are both in a situation where we must win."

Victors will miss Hood Kaweesa and Karim Ndugwa who are out injured. In SuperSportís live game at Namboole, Fire Masters return to the same venue they were walloped for four by KCC, to face Maroons. Maroons beat Express 2-0 in their last game.

Fourth-placed Simba travel to Water in Luzira hoping to keep in touch with pace setters URA and Masaka, whose game against Proline was called off after the upcountry team lost one of their officials. Coach Fred Kajoba will not make the Simba bench as he is away in Morocco with the Cranes.
