The new logo for new ABSA PSL club - Cape Town City FCThe City of Cape Town now has a second team in the South African Absa Premier Soccer League with effect from the 2016/2017 season. Mpumalanga Black Aces sold its Absa PSL franchise to John Comitis of Cape Town, and the club relocated to the Mother City. Now the club owner has announced the new name of the club - its Cape Town City Football Club!
